ICIEA2021 Special Session on Air balancing for HVAC systems

Session Organizers: Gang Jing

CALL FOR PAPERS

In heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, the over-ventilation result in unnecessary energy consumption, while under-ventilation may cause sick building syndrome. A well-balanced ventilation system can address these problems and provide the sufficient air flow rate to fulfil the requirements for fresh air, while guarantee the system consumed the least energy. Air balanced control strategy is the key technology to achieve this goal.

The objective of this session is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss research work related to emerging technologies that are related to air balance control. Original innovative research papers addressing the following technology areas and their potential applications are invited:

• New technologies or methods for air balance of ventilation system;

New equipment implementing the air balance of the ventilation system;

• New instruments measuring the air flowrate, pressure difference of the ventilation system;

• Data acquisition technologies for air flow rate and pressure difference of the ventilation system.

Submissions:

Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format by the submission deadline.
